To help maintain a connection of all of life, a personal sanctuary space is an important part of our daily lives, this space can give us our own private area to practice our routines, healings & rituals…

Having this space, whether it be a room inside our homes, or a part of our garden, perhaps you only have a patio, or the corner of your bedroom, we can still create our very own retreat & surround ourselves in the life-forces, with items of beauty & significance to us, & parts of nature, which then creates a very unique & individual sanctuary. We can then completely immerse in these spaces to replenish our souls & celebrate the blessing of life.

Your personal sanctuary needn’t be expensive or difficult, remember you are creating a haven for you, so bring into this area items that bring nature in-include plants, or stones, & crystals, & like-wise, if your space is outdoors set it up like a room-include furniture with natural materials, perhaps a re-cycled woven mat to create a focal point, cushions, perhaps a yoga mat, even a mirror to create a sense of a larger space. Introduce water, it’s a very calming element, even a small water feature is a great way of allowing energies to flow smoothly, the trickling sound of water is so soothing & it distracts any distant noises too! I personally love using sticks of incense to infuse aromatic scents as well, this can be so invigorating or calming-depending of what your trying to achieve for yourself.

In this refuge of space, we can really let go of the hustle & bustles of life & re-connect with nature, to centre & align ourselves, this space you create will become your “go to place” of healing & replenishing your heart & soul. By setting your intention of what you’ll use this space for, whether it’s meditation, or a quiet space to read, to listen to music, or even firing up your artistical juices, consider all the possibilities & allow this to evolve for you!

Love & Peace,

Sharon
