How Our Thoughts Create Our Reality

“Energy Flows Where Attention Goes” famously quoted by Tony Robbins

A surprisingly simple, and yet quite powerful notion, it’s a bit like “Like attracts like”, this law of attraction. The hardest part is re-training our logical minds to think in ways that draw closer the desires we have for our lives. When we learn how to focus our energies, amazing things begin to happen. You see, we actually have the mind-power to create the circumstances our minds dwell upon, whether they are positive or negative. Let me repeat that, we actually have the mind-power to create the circumstances our minds dwell upon, whether they are positive or negative!! So, our ultimate goal is to practice a conscious mind-set to make sure our thoughts are always aiming towards the positive in everything we are trying to create.

Key to this, is the term “raising our frequency”, some may have heard this before, it’s an important step for two reasons, firstly, our frequency that we use when we are impassioned when we reflect upon a loving thought, a dream, a desire, or our goal gives us the energy as we are pondering this for creation, and secondly, just like a radio station tuning into a particular frequency to transmit clearly, we also must be “tuned-in” to receive our desires. We then prepare ourselves for this dream to arrive on every level we can such as physical, spiritual & material, it isn’t important to know how it will come into our lives, we simply trust that it will, our role is to pay attention to any directions we need to take to draw this to us. This could mean spending a day looking at open homes to get the feel of different layouts to get the feel of what we are drawn too, or thinking about the type of intimate partner we want & then live up to that in ourselves, or as just recently happened to a dear friend-manifesting a simple desire of needing a few more leggings & abracadabra a colleague brings three pairs in as a gift!

With any new skill, we must practice, practice, practice! When we know what direction we want our choices to take us, the Universe conspires to make it happen! We wait with joyful anticipation for it’s arrival! By finding small ways to notice every experience that our dreams are already with us, it creates a joyful ‘treasure hunt’ in that seeking is as much fun as receiving!
